On June 17, 2025, Ice Miller co-sponsored the 2025 Boston Life Sciences Showcase, held at Tufts University’s Joyce Cummings Center. The event convened founders, investors, executives, and strategists to explore the evolving relationship between biotech startups and large pharmaceutical companies under the theme “Biotech and Big Pharma: Navigating Synergies in Today’s Landscape.”

Ice Miller partners Weihong Hsing, Taesoo Sean Kim, and Mai Zymaris were each responsible in shaping the evening’s engaging discussions. Kim moderated the Biotech Entrepreneur & Executive panel, featuring leaders from Cellens, Click Therapeutics, Jana Care, Anodyne Nanotech, and Schrödinger. Hsing led the Pharma & Investor panel with executives from Celltrion, Alexion (AstraZeneca), and Cartesian Therapeutics. Zymaris gave the opening remarks, reinforcing Ice Miller’s commitment to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in life sciences.

The event also spotlighted emerging biotech companies such as Microvitality, Bound Therapeutics, and Novelty Nobility USA, each presenting advances in microbiome therapeutics, RNA delivery, and antibody-based treatments, respectively.
