Kristin McNulty McClellan is a partner in the Firm's Municipal Finance Group. Kristin's practice concentration is Municipal Finance with an emphasis on tax-exempt financings by schools, libraries, hospitals and continuing care retirement communities. Kristin has served as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, disclosure counsel and issuer's counsel on tax-exempt and taxable, short-term and long-term financings as well as current and advance refundings. Kristin also counsels certain clients regarding the state law requirements of the petition-remonstrance process and the referendum process.
In addition to structuring traditional tax-exempt and taxable financings, Kristin has also been involved in developing innovative structures for pooled financings and tax credit bonds.

Prior to joining the firm, Kristin was a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Nancy Vaidik, Indiana Court of Appeals; Judge Robert Gilmore, LaPorte County Circuit Court; and Magistrate Edward Nemeth, Porter County Juvenile Court. She also served as an Ice Miller summer clerk in 2004.

Kristin is a 1998 graduate of Cathedral High School, Indianapolis. In 2002, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, minor in business administration, cum laude from Marian University. In 2005, she earned her juris doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law where she was an editor for the Valparaiso University Law Review and a teacher's assistant for legal writing and research. Kristin joined Ice Miller in August 2005 and is licensed to practice law in the state of Indiana.
