Lindsay Knowles is an attorney in Ice Miller’s Workplace Solutions Group. Her practice focuses on helping clients structure their employee benefits plans and resolve any benefits issues. She has deep experience with federal laws and regulations related to the administration of qualified retirement plans of public entities, employment issues surrounding public safety officers, and disability benefits from pension plans and the Social Security Administration.
 
Prior to joining Ice Miller, Lindsay served as an attorney for the Indiana Public Retirement System. She was heavily involved in the implementation of new defined contribution plans, new pension processing software, and onboarding of a new record-keeper. Prior to employee benefits work, she practiced in elder law, guiding clients in estate planning, asset protection, and Medicaid qualification. 
 
Lindsay graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, receiving her juris doctorate, cum laude, in 2006. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
