Rebecca Lindstrom provides comprehensive representation and strategic legal counsel to a variety of health care providers, including hospitals, health systems, physician groups, medical device manufacturers and distributors, and individual professionals.
Rebecca routinely provides guidance to clients on a variety of matters, such as:
- Compliance with fraud and abuse laws
- Medicare and Medicaid compliance
- Responding to government investigations and appealing survey findings
- State licensure requirements
- Illinois’ Certificate of Need process, including preparation and submission of Certificate of Need and Certificate of Exemption applications, representation of clients before the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board, post-permit compliance matters, and judicial review proceedings
- Medical staff issues
- Health care contracting, including, among others, service contracts and employment agreements
Rebecca also has significant experience representing clients across all stages of administrative and litigation proceedings, including, administrative hearings, trials, judicial review proceedings, and appellate proceedings, which allows her to approach complex legal issues pragmatically, whether in the courtroom or when counseling clients.
