Amy E. Flowers

Amy Flowers is an attorney in Ice Miller’s Workplace Solutions Group, where she advises employers on workplace safety, employment, and risk management matters. She represents clients in OSHA inspections and enforcement actions, workers’ compensation matters, EEOC and Ohio Civil Rights Commission proceedings, and employment litigation in state and federal courts. Amy partners with employers to navigate workplace incidents, regulatory investigations, and complex personnel issues while developing practical strategies to minimize risk and protect business operations.

A strong advocate for her clients, Amy works to resolve disputes efficiently when possible and aggressively defends employers when litigation or agency action cannot be avoided. Whether responding to a workplace accident, defending discrimination claims, managing regulatory scrutiny, or litigating employment disputes, she focuses on achieving results that align with her clients’ objectives. Amy also counsels employers on workplace policies, training, compliance initiatives, and best practices designed to reduce exposure and foster safe, productive work environments.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Amy served as bailiff to Judge Kimberly Cocroft of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas for more than a decade. After receiving her law degree, she drafted judicial decisions and entries involving criminal motions, suppression issues, judicial release requests, post-conviction proceedings, jail-time credit matters, and other complex legal issues before the court. Amy also coordinated matters among court departments, government agencies, litigants, attorneys, and other stakeholders, developing valuable experience in litigation, case management, and dispute resolution.
