Ice Miller partner Christina Fugate has been named a Legal Eagle by the Franchise Times for her work in transactional and litigation franchise law. The Legal Eagle list is built by employing nominations and recommendations from clients, peers, and other legal professionals.

Fugate was quoted in the 2025 edition of the Franchise Times Legal Eagles list discussing the efforts made to maintain compliance while creating franchisors’ Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and what they may sometimes miss, the California Franchise Broker Law, and other valuable franchise lessons, stating, “One important lesson is the importance of staying adaptable. The legal world is constantly changing due to shifts in the administration, the laws, technology, et cetera. Staying adaptable allows me to navigate these changes more effectively, helping to ensure that my legal skills remain relevant.”
