Ice Miller LLP is pleased to announce three new additions to the firm’s Board of Directors, who were elected by the partnership to serve a three-year term:

Lisa Lee (Indianapolis) is a partner whose primary practice concentration is municipal finance. Lee focuses on the issues of tax increment finance, economic development, and general municipal finance, and she has served as a frequent voice in the region on such relevant topics as noteworthy legal opinions, professional ethics, municipal utility financings, capital planning, local option income taxes, and park and stormwater financings.

Ethan Rii, (Chicago) a partner in Ice Miller’s Health Care Group, is devoted to helping health care businesses achieve their strategic initiatives by providing legal advice on creative transactions and navigating regulatory imperatives. Throughout his legal career, Ethan has served in leadership roles and positioned himself as a changemaker for organizations such as the American Health Lawyers Association, Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys.

Taryn Stone (Indianapolis) is the chair of the firm's Health Care Group, focusing her practice on various aspects of health law. Stone represents various providers and suppliers of health care services including hospitals, physicians, and medical device manufacturers on transactional and regulatory issues.

Ice Miller LLP is also pleased to announce the following leadership changes, effective January 1:

Diane Bell begins a new leadership role as the Office Managing Partner in Ice Miller’s Chicago office. A partner in the firm’s Business Group, Bell focuses her practice on M&A transactions, and routinely represents private equity clients in all stages of their investment cycles, from acquiring a new portfolio company through exit, and at each stage in between. She counts founders, management teams, and strategic acquirors among her clients.

Kathleen Sheil Scheidt (Chicago) takes over as Chair of Ice Miller’s Workplace Solutions Group after a successful stint as Vice-Chair. Scheidt has broad experience in labor and employment law, maintaining a comprehensive practice that counsels various types and sizes of employers in all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation.

Ryan McCabe Poor (Indianapolis) will assume the role as Vice-Chair of Ice Miller’s Workplace Solutions Group. Poor works directly with human resources and safety professionals, in-house counsel, and corporate officers to help employers solve tough workplace problems, develop positive employee relations, and prevent unnecessary litigation.
