Ice Miller partner Abigail Barr has been named to the Columbus Business First’s 2024 40 Under 40 list.

Barr is a part of Ice Miller’s Workplace Solutions Practice Group, where her practice focuses on helping employers avoid and resolve labor and employment law issues. She has experience in litigation, collective bargaining, mediation, and arbitration, practicing before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and both state and federal courts.

Barr began her career in the Attorney General’s Office, where she advocated on behalf of state agencies and public colleges and universities.

Additionally, she is a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and sits on the Board of Directors for Communities In Schools of Ohio (CIS of Ohio) and the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Women’s Bar Association.

Since 1993,Columbus Business First has recognized Central Ohio’s young talent through the annual 40 Under 40 program. Each year, the 40 honorees, who are under the age of 40, are judged on their outstanding career achievements and community service. Barr and her fellow honorees will be celebrated at an awards dinner on May 15.
