Chris Kashman is a partner in Ice Miller’s Municipal Finance Group, where he focuses his practice on representative financings, including single and multi-family housing projects. Additionally, Chris has served as bond counsel for governments and governmental issuers on a variety of tax-exempt state and municipal bond issues including economic development bonds. 

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Chris served as majority counsel for the Indiana Senate where he worked closely with Senate leadership in the attorney’s office for the caucus. 

In 2010, Chris earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law with a certificate in tax law. While in law school, Chris was a summer associate in the office of the Governor’s General Counsel in Illinois and a legal intern in the loan and portfolio management group at the Illinois Housing Development Authority. 

Chris has served as a volunteer at the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center, a mentor with the Starfish Initiative, and is a member of the board of directors for the Indiana Chapter of the Partners of the Americas.  

Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in business with a major in finance from the Kelley School of Business.

Chris is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana.
