Stephen J. Hackman

Stephen J. Hackman is a partner at Ice Miller. His practice focuses primarily on federal and state securities law, including capital formation (registered public and exempt private offerings) and federal and state reporting and compliance; corporate governance; mergers and acquisitions; and commercial lending.

Steve's clients are involved in a variety of industries, including medical devices, manufacturing, retail, health care, transportation, energy and agriculture, gaming, contract research, auto dealer financing and automobile redistribution. Steve regularly provides focused, strategic advice to our clients in connection with their growth plans. Steve has acted as lead counsel in numerous sophisticated and complex financing and acquisition transactions and regularly counsels clients regarding disclosure issues, corporate governance matters and compliance with the rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission and various stock exchanges.
