As competition in both technology and capital intensifies in the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology market, the strategies used by biotech companies to expand internationally are becoming increasingly diverse. In particular, Korean biotech companies are exploring various pathways to enter global markets, including licensing agreements, joint research and development, and the utilization of global clinical networks. This session will focus on real-world cases of global expansion by Korean biotech companies, examining R&D strategies designed from the early stages with the global market in mind.
