This will event ensure that nonprofit and association HR professionals understand how to correctly classify workers and the risk associated with misclassification. We will cover:

• Classification of exempt vs. nonexempt employees; 
• Classification of employees vs. independent contractors; 
• Legal risks and consequences of misclassifications; and
• Correcting errors in classification.
