This session will discuss new developments in the area of trademark and trade secret law, including updates in trademark law under the Trademark Modernization Act of 2020, recent case law and statutory development and their impact on the enforceability and drafting of non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality provisions, and practical considerations arising from the continued evolution of technology (i.e. NFTs and virtual worlds).
