Ice Miller Announces New 2025 Partners
Ice Miller is pleased to announce the following lawyers have been elevated to partner:
Dann Bruno (Columbus) focuses his practice on venture capital and private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, intellectual property, and licensing. He primarily works with investors, high-growth companies, and technology transfer offices on M&A, financings, intellectual property licensing, and general business matters.
Kyle T. Finnegan (Chicago) is an attorney in Ice Miller's Litigation and White Collar Defense & Investigations practice groups. His experience includes litigation and internal investigations on high stakes matters across a variety of industries: private equity, financial services, health care, utilities, academic institutions, and publicly traded companies.
Katie J. Marschke (Indianapolis) counsels and represents market-rate and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developers on acquiring, selling, and financing mixed-use and multifamily residential projects across the country.
Aaron A. Nichols (Baltimore) focuses his practice across an array of complex business and litigation matters, counseling clients in the areas of antitrust and trade regulation, class actions, insurance coverage and defense, intellectual property, trade secrets, shareholder disputes, breaches of fiduciary duties, and breaches of contracts.
Michael Ott (Chicago) is an attorney in Ice Miller’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice, where he counsels banks, financial institutions and other creditors in distressed situations. He is experienced across all aspects of the workout, restructuring, and bankruptcy process, providing clients with thorough analyses and creative solutions.
Brian A. Korman (Philadelphia) focuses his practice on private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and complex corporate transactions. He routinely represents private equity funds and their portfolio companies, as well as independent sponsors, family offices, privately held businesses, and other financial and strategic buyers.
Chelsea R. Kurth (Indianapolis) is an attorney in Ice Miller’s Health Care Group representing a wide variety of health care clients, including physicians, medical groups, hospitals, health systems, and clinical laboratories. Her practice focuses on federal and state regulatory issues, contractual, licensing, and other health care-related matters.
Paul Obszanski (Indianapolis) concentrates his practice in private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. He works frequently with private equity funds, publicly traded companies, and emerging growth and closely held businesses in domestic and cross-border transactions involving mergers, acquisitions, and recapitalizations.
Shalina Ann Schaefer (Indianapolis) is a lawyer in Ice Miller’s Workplace Solutions Group with a primary focus on retirement plans of tax-exempt and governmental entities, welfare benefit plans, and church plans. Her practice also focuses on employee benefits, working with regional and national clients on benefit issues, such as plan formation and design; administrative, compliance and implementation advice; and general consulting regarding benefit matters.
