Scott Snively

Well-regarded among clients for his practical and reasonable approach to the practice of law and advising clients, Scott Snively is the Chair of the Business Group and primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions, as well as serving as general outside counsel for emerging growth and middle-market companies, assisting CEOs, CFOs and general counsel on the full range of corporate issues, challenges and opportunities a high-growth company might face.   

Over the years, Scott has led numerous complex mergers and acquisitions for both sellers and buyers. He works with private equity firms on leveraged buy-outs, acquisitions, recapitalizations, and equity and debt financing transactions, while also advising clients on day-to-day legal issues. His counsel to private-growth and middle-market companies generally covers corporate governance, corporate finance, private equity, general contracts and succession and exit planning, as well as the myriad novel legal issues that may develop in the course of a business lifecycle.
