Ice Miller Named to BTI Client Service A-Team 2026
Ice Miller has been listed in the BTI Client Service A-Team 2026 report, an independent ranking of the law firms delivering the strongest client service in the nation. The recognition is based on 17 objective performance  factors, all of which corporate counsel agree drive the strongest relationships between clients and their law firms. This marks the latest in a series of BTI Consulting Group honors for Ice Miller and reflects a firmwide commitment to practical, business-focused counsel and responsive client relationships. About the BTI Client Service A-Team 2026 Recognition For the past 25 years, BTI has published the definitive ranking of law firm client service. The BTI Client Service A-Team 2026 draws on independent, unbiased data collected through BTI’s ongoing Annual Survey of General Counsel. Each year, BTI reaches out to a strategically designed group of top legal decision makers at large organizations to determine the specific habits, behaviors, and relationship advantages that set firms like Ice Miller apart in the legal market. Because the ranking is built entirely on direct feedback from corporate counsel — not firm self-nominations — it stands as one of the most credible, client-driven measures of service quality in the legal industry. A Record of BTI Recognition BTI Consulting Group has previously honored Ice Miller for its experience, including recognition for our business development behaviors, litigation, and LinkedIn performance, based solely on peer-to-peer recommendations from corporate counsel. This selection adds to the firm’s continued acknowledgment by BTI Consulting Group for excellence in client service. What This Means for Our Clients We're grateful to our clients for this recognition and proud of the teams across the firm who consistently go above and beyond to deliver practical, business-focused counsel. This honor reflects what our clients experience every day: responsive, insightful, and dependable partnership at every stage of an engagement. Beyond the Delegation: Bringing Israel’s Leadership Lessons in Cyber Resilience and Innovation Home
Why a Delegation to Israel’s Innovation Ecosystem? Ice Miller Senior Cybersecurity Advisor Chetrice Romero recently joined technology delegation to Israel, sponsored by the Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest and coordinated by TechIndiana and Heartland to Holyland, to explore emerging technologies, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare innovation, venture capital, and international economic partnerships. The delegation brought together leaders from government, higher education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, economic development, technology, and cybersecurity to engage with some of Israel's most influential organizations, including the Israel Innovation Authority, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Startup Nation Central, ARC at Sheba Medical Center, the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, SIBAT, the Israel Export Institute, Iron Nation, and several leading venture capital firms and innovation accelerators. Inside One of the World’s Leading Innovation Ecosystems Throughout a week in July, delegates explored how Israel has developed one of the world's most recognized innovation ecosystems by fostering collaboration among government, academia, industry, healthcare, investors, and entrepreneurs. Discussions focused on practical applications of: Artificial intelligence and AI governance Cyber resilience and critical infrastructure protection Healthcare and agricultural technology innovation Startup commercialization andworkforce development Public-private partnerships A Cybersecurity Advisor's Perspective on Resilience As Ice Miller's cybersecurity advisor, Romero participated in discussions centered on cyber resilience, AI governance, critical infrastructure, workforce readiness, and opportunities to strengthen partnerships between Israel and organizations across the Midwest. The experience provided valuable insights into how leaders can better prepare for emerging risks while responsibly embracing innovation. "Cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and innovation may have been the focus of our meetings, but leadership was the lesson that connected them all," Romero said. "The organizations we visited consistently showed that resilient organizations are built by investing in relationships, encouraging collaboration, and never losing sight of the people behind the technology. Those are principles I look forward to bringing back to our clients." Strengthening the Indiana ⇄ Israel Corridor The delegation also explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration between Israel and Indiana in sectors including healthcare, advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, agriculture, critical infrastructure, higher education, and economic development, reinforcing Ice Miller’s role in the growing initiative. Bringing Lessons Home to Clients Ice Miller will incorporate insights from the delegation into the team’s work advising clients on cyber resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, AI governance, tabletop exercises, and executive preparedness. "One of the most important reminders from this experience is that the world's biggest challenges cannot be solved by one organization or one nation alone," Romero said. "The strongest solutions are built when leaders are willing to share ideas, challenge one another's thinking, and work together toward a common purpose."
